The Evange Temple Church was founded in January 1999 by Dr. Jonathan Rodgers.  Prior to establishing this church and ministry, Pastor Rodgers was pastor and founder of Bethel Temple COGIC, Memphis, TN for 30 years.  The Evangel Temple Church is actually a rebirth of the first Evangel Temple Church Pastor Rodgers pastoredback in the 60's.

Evangel Temple Church exists to:
(1) Evangelize the lost.
(2) Edify the saved through teaching and preaching ministries.
(3) Minister to those in need through various Christ-centered, social      outreach programs.
(4) Encourage and promote the spirit of Christian unity and spiritual       renewal in the Body of Christ.
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal..
